I personally think it’s amazing! I just love the way it’s one continuous shot. Her strutting (you better twork!) to the car with the city lights in the background. You don’t know what the whole story is but you can piece it together. To sum it up Ye must of fucked up. To most people Yeeeeez is trying too hard to be avant garde and falls short. My thing is AT LEAST HE’S TRYING!!! Seriously who else in main stream hip hop is trying THIS hard to push the envelope and be different? To explore and incorporate different music and style. You got Kanyeeeasy, Lupe Fiasco, and RZA that’s it! Timbaland just name drops that’s all he’s good for. I doubt that’s all there is to the video but if it is, I’m not complaining.
I know Don Ye can be annoying as hell when he gives acceptance speeches. But seriously the guy has earned the right to brag and be full of himself. He’s in a league all by himself.
By the way the girl is Rita G and she was crowned “Best Natural Breast in the world” by Howard Stern back in 01. I can see why Ye liked her… just saying. Here is her website. hate to be a hater, but i think ye is waaaay overrated musically, as far as being avante-garde at least. most of the time he just samples old soul tracks and uses 95% of the original track, including the chorus. he gets props for having great taste in music, but i just think he uses way too much of the original source material when sampling, so he comes off lazy. and his lyrics are kind of moronic to me.
that being said, this song has a hot beat, the video is really good (i’ll give the director props for sure) and most of all…THAT CHICK IS SICK!!! NOW THAT IS HOT.
Kanye needs a ghostwriter badly though.
